Hello, everyone! :D
I'm back to chronicling my tour during my birthday. I wasn't able to write yesterday because I had something to do.
Nonetheless, here is the second half of the tour on the first day.
Day 1 - January 20, 2015
Kawasan Falls, Badian
Meet my companions: Czar and Dessa. They are from Pangasinan, home of the infamous Hundred Islands. Since most of the people in our tour group joined the canyoneering, the three of us were left to explore Kawasan Falls leisurely. I am so thankful for their presence. I didn't get lonely on my birthday! Praise God!
The start of a 30 minute walk....
The first glimpse of the 'river' from the falls... (Or, maybe, this is a stream? It's too shallow and calm to be a river I think.)
Isn't it a nice place to walk through?
The first bridge I passed.
Now, the second bridge...
It's so amusing to find a cute waiting shed while walking. I didn't have the chance to sit down on it though.
Trivia: This bridge was built 30-40 years ago. It isn't Hispanic despite it's appearance. I seriously got fooled by it! (Hehehe)
The Municipality of Badian relies on this man-made power plant for electricity. The main one's on a higher level way up ahead.
This is the last bridge.
At last! Kawasan Falls.... ♥♥♥
I heard this is very deep so I didn't swim here.
Folks, this isn't the same falls in the pictures above. This is still Kawasan, but it's the second level. It's at the top of the main falls which is what everyone see first. You can come here after a 15 minute walk.
The raft, which is big, costs 300PHP and it can carry several people. In my case, we were only 3.
What a wonderful, majestic creation of God! Nature, indeed, shows some of the glory of Jehovah God. To God be the glory, honor, and praise!
See you next time! :D
P.S. Happy 23rd birthday to me! ☻♥☻

Since Kawasan 2 isn't as deep and crowded, I decided to go for a swim here.
This is the 1st level of the falls. It's small and very rocky. Some people do their laundry here.
I super enjoyed going around the three levels of Kawasan Falls. It's my first time ever seeing a falls, more so swimming in one. It was also challenging in the sense that the surroundings were wet and rocky which made my slippers unstable. I had to walk really slow to ensure that I won't slip. By the grace of God, I survived going up and down the falls.
